this is a risk we are actually facing, in my humble opinion, when we
come to the e-Apostille. Different, non-interoperable signature formats
could create closed environments, in which only the countries who share
the same technology would be able to exchange documents. This would be
a major step back: in the paper world, the Apostille is accepted almost
everywhere, and there is no "format" issue
platforms like the IVTF could solve such a problem
